LOGO

The Haute Cafe owner wanted to incorporate the banana seat bike he had as a child into the logo.  We decided on a thin line drawing of the bike.

To offset the thin line drawing, I hand drew a chunky font to add a bit of edge to the bike and balance the composition.  The word "haute" combined with a banana seat bike seemed like it needed edge to keep it cool and ironic.

We took the banana seat bike concept and created a few variations based on the owner's other hobbies: golf and guitar.  

FOOD WRAP

Taking the feel of the logo, I created food wrapping paper designs with repeating patterns like "haute stuff" and the banana seat bike. I also created a blue and white repeating check pattern that tied into the design of the new cafe.
